The Czech Dance Platform Festival annually showcases a curated selection of the most compelling works from the Czech dance scene. It is highly anticipated not only by the public but also by both domestic and international professionals. Serving as a fantastic networking opportunity, the platform promotes the establishment of intensive international and national contacts, fostering subsequent collaborations.
Each year, the Dramaturgical Council, made up of independent experts from the field of dance (critics, curators, producers, artists), selects around 10 of the most interesting performances of the past year.
The platform also features a rich accompanying program, which includes, for example, Meet the Artists, site-specific projects, artist trips, discussions, presentations and much more.
The Czech Republic is the only European country where the platform has maintained its annual continuity. The 30th anniversary edition of the platform will took place in 2024.
